Many people wish to come to The Mandala Center to rest and renew without any particular agenda or program and our individual weekends offer this option. Our four individual retreat weekends offer lodging and meals to visitors who may just wish to come and enjoy retreat: a time for personal contemplation, rest, reading, study; silence.
This session reveals and teaches the fascinating anatomy of human conversation. Together we will tap the vibrance of the present moment and help empower each of us as individuals, along with the group as a whole, to work at the top of our intelligence. The workshop offers an advanced set of tools and strategies to use in important interactions at work, at home and wherever we want to listen deeply, be heard and make a positive difference.

This retreat will help you to gain greater understanding of the classic yogic path and its many benefits: physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. Originally developed by the Sri T. Krishnamacharya, known worldwide as the “Father of modern yoga”, Svastha Yoga is the practical approach of personalizing the practice for the individual—regardless of age, fitness level, experience, or health. Monique offers these teachings directly from her teachers, A.G. and Indra Mohan, long time personal students of Krishnamacharya. The wellness weekend includes daily classes, lectures, chanting and meditation. In addition, Monique will meet independently with each participant to design a yoga practice that you can take home. The Mandala Center affords the perfect setting for rest while integrating workshop material and embarking on your own practice.
Monique is a returning workshop facilitator and a board member at The Mandala Center. Here are some comments from her previous students who attended her last workshop.
Immerse yourself in this simple yet profound creative process and be guided by original founder and teacher of Touch Drawing –Deborah Koff-Chapin.
You create not one, but a series of drawings in each session. It is like gazing into a transforming inner mirror. The experience also will include vocalizing, movement, writing, and group sharing while honoring this expansive, ancient volcanic land.
Each of us is born with creative genius. Within every one of us there exists an original gift of creative power waiting to be ignited. This creative engine is our genius, a source of inherent brilliance whose dynamic potential can transform our lives once we know how to find it.
