ABOUT OUR PRESENTER
Dr. E. Ann Hollier, Ph.D. is an executive coach, author, inspirational speaker, and researcher. She has studied dreams and imagery in personal transformation for over 30 years. Her work with dreams, imagery, symbolism, and ritual is grounded in the perspective that these experiences speak to us primarily through a non-verbal language of metaphors, emotions, and feelings. She helps participants discover, retrieve, and articulate the practical knowledge and tools they need to bring lasting benefits from their dreamwork into their everyday lives. She is co-author of Dream On! A Dream Interpretation and Exploration Guide for Women, and is working on her second book, Might as Well Say Yes, a collection of autobiographical stories about the power of dreams to seed change, propelling us out of our old lives and into new possibilities. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This hands-on workshop explores dreamwork as a vehicle for solving practical problems in your personal and professional life – while also nourishing your emerging enlightened Self and highest purpose. Your biggest “problems” are invitations to grow, as they cannot be solved at the level of maturity that created them. As you mature, you are constantly pulled into terra incognita and challenged to integrate parts of yourself too strange, too powerful, too dark, too wonderful to have previously imagined – or embodied.
Using a variety of techniques including journaling, embodiment, writing and story-telling, mandalas and other art, music and sound, dream yoga, and dream incubation, we will enter into the living reality of our dreams and their timeless wisdom. Understanding the dream is important, but it comes at the end of this process, not the beginning. You will apply what you learn to practical problems in your everyday life, while also exploring the cycle of psychological death and rebirth that is a necessary and inevitable expression of the growing edge of your Self.
