Linda SherrillABOUT OUR PRESENTER

Linda Sherrill has been a professional photographer for the past 24 years. Her work has appeared in numerous national magazines, Cat Fancy, Endurance News, The Horse Magazine, Horse Illustrated, Equus, Saddle Up Magazine, and many books and calendars. She is a member of Professional Photographer's of America, (PPA) and is an award winning photographer having received an Image of Excellence Award in 2017 from the Texas Professional Photographer's Association and also received a merit for her image "Sunday Stroll" from the PPA International Print Competition, on display in January in Nashville during PPA's National Convention.

Linda believes that we all should exist in photos. They are our only connection to the past and the people who love us.

 

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Join us as we explore the current world of Photography!

Topics will include...

  • How do I get my photos off my phone and into my hands in print form?
  • How do I set my camera (or camera phone) to capture subjects that don’t look too dark?
  • Why do my photos never look as good as what I see with my eye?
  • Is there a way to photograph a moving subject without blur?
  • I recently purchased a camera and don’t know where to start!

Schedule:

  • 10:00 a.m. First Session
  • 12:00 p.m. Lunch
  • 2:00 p.m. Second Session
  • 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Shoot and Share (time to practice, ask questions, and share)
  • 6:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. Dinner followed by an evening Session

Priced to fit your Schedule and Budget!
Option #1 includes 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. sessions plus lunch - $35
Option #2 includes dinner and evening session - $50
Combo includes all sessions, lunch and dinner - $80
Ultimate includes all sessions, lunch and dinner, overnight lodging in a private room and breakfast the next morning - $150

You may pay by credit card (visa or mastercard) over the phone or send in a check or money order within 10 days of registration payable to The Mandala Center. (PO Box 158 Des Moines New Mexico 88418) Payment in full is expected at the time of registration. Space is not held until payment is arranged.

Do you have a spouse or friend who would like to come on retreat but NOT attend the workshop with you? Call us for prices for lodging and meals only and bring them along!

Please register early if you are interested in a workshop. Workshops may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met.


Check in Information

Check-in begins at 3 p.m. on the first day of your workshop unless otherwise noted in workshop schedule. If you wish to arrive early, or would like to extend your stay, please contact us. We offer a 15% on lodging for additional nights. Our staff will assist you with registration and see you to your roomsl. Dinner is generally at 6 p.m. preceded by a brief orientation. An evening introduction session with your workshop instructor will follow dinner. Workshop leaders will establish the daily routines/sessions with you. Workshops generally end at lunch time on the final day (usually Sunday). We ask guests to be out of their rooms by 12 p.m. on the day of departure.


Cancellation Policies

Our fees and cancellation policies are subject to change at any time without notice.

Although it is our desire that all programs are successful, circumstances do arise that lead to a need for cancellation. The Mandala Center reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If The Mandala Center cancels a program you will receive a full refund on the program and accommodation fees. We are not responsible for travel expenses incurred due to cancellations.

Cancellations prior to 30 days: full refund minus a $75 processing fee.

Cancellations made within 15-30 prior: 50% refund of total fee OR a non-refundable credit for the full amount transferable to any future program or stay within one year of issue minus a $150 processing fee. (note: a gift certificate will be issued for credit and must be presented/mentioned upon registration for future event/stay to receive credit.)

Cancellations 8 - 14 days prior: 25% refund of total fee.

Cancellations 7 days or less prior: No refunds are issued.
